What does "Easy Care" mean? Wrinkle Free, No Iron Convenience

by Anita Jabbour January 01, 2020

As luxurious as it is to eat on 100% linen tablecloths, and as luxurious as it is to sleep on 100% Egyptian long-staple cotton, it can be just as frustrating trying to care for them. The finer the linens, the more care you have to take in laundering them and ironing them to make sure they have that perfect, crisp look each time. When you're scrambling to prepare a guest room or a table setting, the last thing you need is to find that you have hours of ironing to take up your time, and the frustration of trying to iron a giant tablecloth or bed sheet on a narrow ironing board.

The result is a bed sheet that still feels luxurious to the touch, but also has qualities that make them easy to care for. In many cases, you can put these sheets in the laundry, and they come out of the dryer virtually wrinkle-free. Sometimes no ironing is needed, and other times just some light touch-ups are needed. Another bonus is that Easy Care bedding tends to be less expensive.

It's important to remember that "Easy Care" does not mean "Careless". These sheets and tablecloths are manufactured by companies like Matouk and Sferra to the same exacting quality as their other products.

Here are some of the Easy Care Bedding choices from Matouk:.
